North Arrow is a veteran-owned business founded by close friends who share a tremendous love for God, family, and coffee. Over many cups of coffee, we have discussed what it means to be a Christian in today’s culture. Time and time again, we have landed on the topic of abortion and recognize it as the darkest institution to plague our “free” society. We have decided to do what we can in the marketplace. By being open about our faith and stance and delivering an excellent product, we hope to impact the fight for life by donating to those who are ending abortion.

I always strive to purchase coffee from pro-life places, places that understand that the life's given to us by God is a gift, and one to be nurtured. When we have our priorities straight, that bis focused on God, everything else eventually falls in line.
Just like the flavors of this coffee. I have experimented with different temperature brews to see how the extraction fairs. 86-90⁰C is the best range yet for the most balanced extraction. The lower temps in the 68-74⁰C seems to have a more caramel brown sugar note, and not much of the spice. I am curious if a long extraction cold brew will pull the spice flavor of the star anise.

We normally prefer light-roasted coffee. I noticed some darker beans as I scooped it into the grinder and through "Uh oh!" but we both really like this coffee. It's probably our favorite of the coffees of the month so far!
Smooth and delicious. Honduras No. 4 is so good and comforting. I highly recommend!

I have always liked dark but not bitter coffe and my mom likes medium roasts. French 19 keeps us both happy. I brew mine in an espresso machine and mom uses the old faithful drip coffee maker. I also really like it in a press pot or pourover. All that said, this is the best and freshest fullbodied coffee I've had for a long time and is very flavorful in different grindes, made weaker or stronger. Good coffee for a good cause. What could be better?
